DWC Launches New Website & fastQuote Portal

If you’ve been to the DWC website lately, you may have noticed we have a “new look”. We are proud to announce the official release of the new distributorwire.com and fastQuote portal.

The new website is designed to be fast, scalable, and easy to use. Visitors are welcomed with featured content that helps folks get to know DWC and the value we bring. With this new site, we’ll continue to highlight information relevant to wholesale electrical distribution and the topics that drive our industry. We aim to make distributorwire.com a valuable resource for news, views, knowledge, and business intelligence.

When it comes to product information, the website is loaded with listings, and specs on DWC’s ever-growing selection of specialty wire & cable. Future updates will yield new features and perhaps bring back a few old ones! “The plan is to continue to refine our product listings to make distributorwire.com a central hub for product information”, shared Ted Jolly, DWC’s Director of Marketing. “We’d like our site to be one of the first places to go for wire & cable knowledge”!

In addition to the new corporate website, DWC has also rolled out the all new fastQuote portal. There, electrical distributors have exclusive access to a curated environment, designed to bring simplicity to their wire & cable business. Within the fastQuote portal, users can submit and monitor quotes and orders, as well as track shipments, and get freight estimates. The new portal also provides electrical distributors an access point to participate in the variety of contests, sweepstakes, charity events, and fun promotions that DWC holds. (Currently, DWC’s NFL Pick ‘Em Challenge and 15th Annual Toys for Tots toy drive are both underway.)

Another feature of the new fastQuote portal is the DWC Market Monitor. Here, you find a central source for commodity pricing and market data. Electrical distributors have quick and easy access to pricing information on copper, aluminum, oil & gas, lumber, and more. The market monitor also features current data on market drivers like home construction, rig count, and domestic manufacturing.
